LORD BUG

With the name Lord Bug, the Nottingham born and bred singer-songwriter Libby makes a nod to subverting gender norms and her queerness. Accordingly, her music explores themes around feminity and masculinity, growing up queer and catholic, as well as the textural landscape of her relationships with family, friends and lovers. All of this is wrapped up in her guitar playing and hypnotising melodies, or as musician Manmzèl puts it, ‘her soothing voice and soul-sprinkled indie songs”.  Since moving away from home to Oxford for university, she hasn’t stopped writing and is continually inspired by female fronted artists such as Remi Wolf, Nilufer Yanya, Clairo, Billie Marten and Lianne La Havas.

CARØLINACARØLINA is a London-based Alternative Rock artist born in Madrid, Spain. She came to the UK with only 17 years old to follow her music dream leading her to study in the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. From influences such as Amy Winehouse, Etta James and Aretha Franklin to Nothing but Thieves and KALEO, CARØLINA’S Jazzie Pop and Indie-Alternative Rock style is very unique. Her latest single “I want it now” is available now in all streaming platforms.

Julia-Maria is an artist emerging at full force. Hailing from Ireland now living in London, the multi-instrumentalist is already on many radars as ‘one to watch’. Julia-Maria’s music has resonances of Maggie Rodgers, Phoebe Bridgers, Feist, and Joni Mitchell.

Drawing on her Celtic roots, Julia-Maria’s music has emotional intensity with vibrant instrumentalism and haunting vocals. The blend of her classical background as a cellist and folk-pop roots creates a unique and immersive musical experience at her live shows.
